Kuchnir Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery is an academically affiliated private practice. It was founded to provide expert dermatologic care for patients in the suburbs west of Boston. The central mission of the practice will always be to provide excellent dermatologic consultation for the benefit of this community.
Prompt access for patients is a long-term commitment. We strive to make routine appointments available within two weeks. Same-day and urgent appointments are scheduled at each referring physician's discretion.
Our dermatologists work closely with primary care physicians, other specialists, and subspecialized dermatologists to ensure teamwork and continuity of care. Each of our clinicians is an expert in diagnosis as well as medical and surgical treatment of all diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. We often perform diagnostic testing on skin in the office at the same visit. When necessary, we can conveniently arrange for prompt surgical treatment, including Mohs micrographic surgery.
The academic mission of the practice exposes our medical students and residents to the scientific and practical field of modern dermatology. Our dermatologists also give several lectures each year to enhance the dermatology component of our medicine and pediatric training programs. Our dermatologists have contributed over twenty-five years as faculty at the UMass, Harvard and Tufts Medical Schools.
Our dermatologists are available for inpatient and emergency consultation at Marlborough Hospital, Milford Regional Medical Center, MetroWest Medical Center, Emerson Hospital and at each campus of the UMassMemorial Medical Center.
